About me
Hello, I'm Jess Blount, owner of Blount Behaviour. If you've found this website,
my guess is you want to help someone - your dog, a family embarking on a
journey, or clients who look to you for guidance.

So where do I come in?

I have a Masters degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour, am a Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB), Certificated member of the Fellowship of Animal Behaviour Clinicians (FABC) and am a registered Clinical Animal Behaviourist with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC). As well as this, I am an assessed member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT UK, number 01217) and a registered Animal Training Instructor with the ABTC.
For the last 3 years I have worked solely as a Clinical Animal Behaviourist, but before this I was focused on delivering professional development support, and this is where my passion still lies. I spent years observing dog trainers to identify areas in both theory and practical skills that would benefit from support and development, creating resources to support dog trainers in delivering content, and building on courses to deliver to pet dog owners.

My aims are to support people to support dogs - whether this is owners seeking help for their own dog, or pet professionals who want to broaden their skills base to deliver more targeted and goals-based content when teaching course and individuals.
