Class observations
You've been to seminars, conferences and training days. You've learned the theories of teaching owners to train their dogs. But have you ever had someone come and support you to put it into practise?
What's included?
Week 1 class
I come along to the first week of your next course. We go through your booking forms, the information you collect about the dogs attending class, and how you put that to good use.
Through your class I make notes on a wide variety of aspects that contribute to not only your teaching, but your learners' ability to take that information and use it to develop their dogs' behaviours
Post-class
We schedule a virtual meeting for a day or two after the class to go through key elements of your setup and delivery to find key strengths and areas where development could be put into place.
I work hard to ensure that my comments are not judgemental, critical, or baseless. Everyone is at that own stage in their teaching journey, and my job is support you on the road to reaching your maximum potential.
Next steps
After your feedback session, your next steps are up to you, with no obligation.

You can use the feedback you receive to search for CPD that will target the areas you now wish to develop

You can request a full course observation, to build a clearer picture of how these developmental areas affect other areas of your course

Or, you can request a bespoke training session to be created specifically for your developmental needs

The value of feedback
It’s easy to fall into familiar patterns when teaching, whether you’re new or experienced.
While these habits can help create a consistent flow to your class, they may also obscure how your students are truly absorbing the material. Bringing in an independent observer can provide valuable insights, helping you refine your approach and transform your classroom into an exceptional learning environment.
Don't underestimate the power of fresh perspectives in enhancing your teaching effectiveness!
